Shipping
All orders will be shipped via the most economical method chosen by Swift Motorsports,
unless otherwise specified by the customer prior to the date of shipment. UPS
is the preferred method of shipment unless the merchandise is too large for
UPS standards which would require shipping by common carriers (truck). Most
rear wings and spoilers and many urethane or plastic ground effect kits can
be shipped by UPS, while most fiberglass ground effect kits require truck shipment.
Shipping charges must be
included in the payment.
Shipping Damage
Swift motorsports packs all merchandise carefully to prevent damage during shipments.
Nevertheless, damage may occur occasionally in transit. Any damage in shipment
is the responsibility of the carrier, therefore all damage claims must be made
by the purchaser directly to the carrier. All products shipped by Swift Motorsports
are insured for their full value. In case of damage retain all cartons, packing
materials and damaged merchandise for the carrier to inspect. Never refuse shipment
or return it without approval since your right to make a damage claim may be
denied. If the damage is apparent upon receipt, accept the merchandise and note
the damge and irregularities (such as crushed, torn, or broken packing) on the
freight bill and have the driver sign it as verification. If the damage is not
readily apparent at the time of arrival (where the box is intact but the merchandise
inside is damaged), then it must be reported to the shipping company within
24 working hours after receipt of shipment. After inspection the damaged merchandise,
the carrier will determine whether to pay for repair costs or replacement value
of the damaged goods. Replacement value is not negotiable, it is the amount
that you paid. Repaire cost is an arbitrary amount which can be negotiated with
the carrier in the event of disagreement. All disputes as to the settlement
amount or mannner should be addressed with the carrier. Swift Motorsports under
no circumstances shall be liable for the damaged merchandise or for subsequent
settlement of the claim with thet carrier. However, as a courtesy, we would
be glad to help you in reaching an amicable settlement with the carrier in the
event that
you need assistance.
Cancellations
All cancellations prior to shipping are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Return Policy
Special order items can not be returned. All other returns must be approved
by Swift Motorsports prior to being returned. A Return Authorization (RA) number
will be issued to the original purchaser by Swift Motorsports and this number must be
written on the outside of the packages being returned. All returns must be received
by Swift Motorsports within 30 days of the original ship date with the RA number
written on the outside of the return box. Any items received after 30 days of
the original ship date or without an RA number written on the box will be refused
and returned to the purchaser at his/her expense. All returned items must be
in unused, unaltered, unpainted condition along with all the hardware, instructions,
etc. that it came with originally. Include a copy of the original invoice with
all returned merchandise. Wholesale customers will only receive store credit.
Retail customers have the option or store credit only. All returns must be sent
shipping prepaid. Any returns sent freight collect will be refused and returned
to the purchaser at his/her expense. All returnable items must be carefully
packed in original packaging or better if the original packaging is not in good
condition. Purchaser is advised to insure the returned goods for the full value
for his own protection, since neither Swift Motorsports nor the shipping company
would be responsible for any damage or loss in shipment. Refunds will not be
issued on returned merchandise damaged on the way back to Swift Motorsports.
In the event returned merchandise is damaged, Swift Motorsports will file a
claim with the carrier and refund the purchaser upon settlement of the claim.
